Get a Go

It seems to be a long long time that my last journey has ended
but now there comes a new one

EDUTRAVEL

if you've ever heard about this word before

the plan is to go to a small area where we can find a beautiful scenery .. and a nice wine!
France seems to be a good choice .. also Italy

but how far can I go ... no one knows ...

Before Flying Home

I finally finished my study ..

Not too long from now .. I'm leaving UK to my hometown

Unfortunately, there's such a lot of things I'm thinking about ..
I wonder if I could find a job that I could earn enough money for my mom
I wonder if I could be away from the busiest city in Thailand
I wonder what it would be if I could be away from there
I wonder ....
I wonder ....

I tend not to concern about the family but it's just impossible
I believe there's no way I could be on my own ...
I don't have my own family now .. but who knows in the future ..

Sun Shines in Brugge

After a well-slept night, I woke up in the morning and found out I was in a small bed in a hostel where I have chosen to be my room for the next few days. I intended to stay in Brugge, Belgium as I am passionated in discovering one place rather than in visiting many places with a shorten in time.

Brugge is full of history..my knowledge is not enough to describe all the best of it but to me it is a small city where the old is still alive! and the new is in ... I would say I enjoy the look of the city..they keep the old buildings there but they still move forward to the future..however I don't like it to be changed..

Brugge was a lovely, sunny city throughout my visit. The people were so kind in a way. One of my concern was they had a business smile for me..only where I had seen a real sincere smile was its post office where a gentlemen served me when I bought some stamps for my postcards.

most of my time in Brugge, I was walking or taking buses around the city visiting from north to south, east to west...sightseeing and sitting under the sun

I noticed so far there was nothing to be authentic apart from the chocolate...Belgium chocolate which I have to say it is SUPER DELICIOUS!
however, I haven't had much both food and chocolate on this trip..I should have more..

Slow the Time...Enjoy the World

It was a long starting from the morning of the mid day of the week...

Sun was so concern to bring out a little of the brightness for a nice walk down the street towards the rail station where the journey began

Almost missing the train bacause of careless checking of the ticket believing I've had another 15 minnutes before the departure..fortunately, I reached the station just about on time.

Sitting on the train was not a bad idea, as usual, I've got more time to think about my life & certainly my holiday. A little writing could waste my perfectly free time. The train was quiet through the journey..sun was playing hide and seek behind the coulds...

Arriving at London was just one third of my whole journey as I had to take Eurostar to Brussels, Belgium and a local train to Brugge where was my first destination.

The journey on Eurostar was such a pain to me, the underexpexted small to fit seat was a big surprise. I wondered how Europeans could fit in those seats.
The next bit was the ChannelTunnel where the train went through to get to France as the first entry before passing through to Belgium. It was about 20 minutes according to the announcement but it seemed to be ages in there.
The first impression after getting out of the Tunnel, the sence of France was confused me. It was similar to England apart from the sun that was brighter and the feeling that was unexplanable. The first sign on a road the train was passing advising with an English word 'STOP'. It kept moving towards Lille where was the first stop in Europe mainland. Now, I hardly waited to see how Belgium is like...
Leaving from Lille, it was not so long to get to Belgium. I was a little tired and nervous from the crowded station so then I failed to have a short tour around Brussels before going to Brugge. I caught the first train out to Brugge.

Finally, I stepped on my destination, the historic city of Europe, it was full of people like in Brussels but it was a big concern for a new comer. I briefly took a bus to a hostel I've booked...and spent the rest of the night in my bed...

Get a GO!

Finally, my intention to take a break comes true...

Tomorrow, leaving my lovely town (Bournemouth) to hopefully a nice place to stay
it's kind of another of my journey
after the latest one to ChiangMai (Thailand) about 2 years ago...

but this time...it's just not in my home country nor the country where I'm living...

so that might say this is very interesting to me
of going away to a totally new place and perfectly on my own!

it might not be a good idea
if I tell anyone in Thailand I fly by myself especially my mom

to say, i'm not really on my own for the whole trip...
let me tell...

it's about 10-day trip

first to Brugge, Belgium, where i know no one...
but believing to meet some new good friends in a hostel where i stay
i should use the word 'settle down' for i will be there for about 3-4days

it's quite a long period...
comparing with other travellers who tend to visit as many places as possible

my simple reason of staying this long is...
i would like to be one in the community to see how they spend their lives
and you wouldn't find out from only one-day visit

afterward, i hopefully find a way to Paris
for one night visit in this case...
i hate the city is the final thought of short stay
planning to see the Louvre...and that's it...
maybe a bus tour for some knowledge about this busy city

next morning, i leave Paris to a better place
also, this is my finish line of independent travelling...
meet my friend's family in La Rochelle,
which is a peaceful area from my little research

i love to leave it unknown..so that i can discover
it's more exciting to me...

also this time i'm sure i'm going to enjoy my break...
or to say...i will love it!

p.s. i might not want to come back to work ;P

Where about I am

Such a long time i havnt written down any here

last trip was about what i'm not entirely sure
but i did several to another towns and cities

BIRMINGHAM...is my most often & longest visit over these past few months

i spent about 2 or 3 nights there once when i've visited Pong (my sister)
we've had a good time there even there wasnt much to be done
the first day of the visit,
it was snowing from the first step i've taken out of the house
while Pong was at work somewhere i don't know
i walked down the roads by myself looking around & enjoy the white icy drops

another two days, Pong was taking me around the city
to some points where i've never been to
the city centre wasn't so big
everywhere is about in the same place...real close to each other
maybe i just didn't realise before

some way some how...
Birmingham is nicer than before
it might be because i havn't been here for a while
and this time it was about Christmas and New Year
the city was lively with join
and that's the way i'd love to see

also, where we have been were new to me
as there is no such a place like this in Bournemouth
a huge elegant restaurant..where i wouldn't have chance to be if i'm in Bournemouth
but, Birmingham is an excuse of spending my money

i've learned..travel needs money
and i can't stop spending it when i'm on travelling
i believe this is a basic of all things
money is such a valuable thing..and people hunger for it
while i still enjoy doing what i like to do rather than doing what i'll earn more money
