Scotland Trip...

The first time I flew with low-cost airline is not a good experience but interesting...sadly, I just handed in my work about it so this is only the proof of what I've written whether I'm wrong or not...(haha...my English isnt like English)

well, again this was the first time I had a trip to another country with my friends...(even it's just Scotland)...the trip was extremely memorable & yes! I enjoyed it much...

we had visited 3 main places...Glasgow, Edinburgh, and The Isle of Skye...

for me, Glasgow is such a large city & very busy (even in a night time), people're walking fast aiming to somewhere...we reached there in late evening & tried to find a place to sleep...that day I felt this city was a boring place at the fisrt glance, maybe because I dont like a big city like this...we stopped at a Chinese restaurant & had dinner there...& there we found the place to stay for that night by asking a waitress in the restaurant, well, she was nice & helpful trying to think of some places to stay (& the cheap ones always came up)...I thank her...

we stayed in a hostel near Clyde river...it was nice to me...a dorm for 8 girls...we (4 girls) shared the room with another 2 girls: one from Australia (for full-time travelling) & another one I dont know :-( ....while 2 guys gota share with other guys in different room...

anyway, after we left our luggages, we went out to see the city...it's nice decorated by x'mas stuffs & lights...for me, some are beautiful...I like a street (actually, it may called avenue...i dont know), it's decorated with blue light & I felt like it's x'mas time...blue at night means lonesome to me & I feel x'mas is the day of sadness (a baby was born to be killed) even most people said it's the joy!

the second day, we woke up in the morning walking toward the train station & catching a train to Science Centre, somewhere few minutes away from city centre...
today wasnt good weather...rainy & windy...but we still went out!...the place would be nicer if it were a sunny day...anyway, after that we went back to the city...did a little shopping...& 4people went to Glasgow Airport for 2 cars we hired, while another 2 were left behind waiting for my sister from Birmingham to join us...

we're back to the city late evening with the cars...I drove one in black...we left the city at once after loaded our things because it was getting dark & we had to drive to Edinburgh (about 2 hours I think--I dont know, I just drove follow the signs)...we reached there (Edinburgh) around 7-8pm not sure...again we searched for a place to stay & we found a great deal in last minute shop (where a lady offered us £15 pppn in 3-star hotel in the central) so we got the place to sleep...but where to eat???

we walked along the street...the point was to find something to eat & finally we ended up with another Chinese dinner! still, I think the food in Top Wok (Chinese shop where I work) is better...ok, whatever, just ate & back to sleep...

the third day...it was a busiest morning...we parked our cars last night on a street near the hotel..so gota get up early & move the cars...haha...it came up with we were too lazy to move so just paid for parking!... after two more hours sleeping, we drove to Calton Hill where we can see the whole city...this day was very nice! sunny & lively...Edinburgh is very beautiful by itself...Edinburgh Castle is in the middle of the city...a big park near the castle...what I like is the city is clean & not crowded like Glasgow...we took about 1-2hours taking photos on that hill..& came down then moved toward Hollyrood Park (actually I think we found this place by accident but I wasnt sure because I followed another of our cars)...again, it was nice & took lots photos there...it was a huge hill (for me) & we can see sea (or loch I wasnt sure) from uphill...one place I like is a small village behind the park but we didnt check it out, I can see only a small road from where I stood...

we went back to the city & to the castle...we found a car park near there (also for overnight, luckily) then we went to the castle which gota pay for £9.99 (quite expensive, but worth!)...we got into there before the sun set so we could take photos of evening light...walked around for more than 2 hours...many places to visit...I like the prison museum (if it called a museum)...the displays are nice & creative, using light & sound making a feeling of someone really being there & telling us the stories...

we went back to the city again...walked toward Princes Mall where we found out there's a Thai shop for our dinner...we got it! this shop made very nice food...feeling like eating Thai food but the taste wasnt that hot (a Thai chef said it's for English, sorry) well, this guy is nice, we had a short talk while we queued...then we went to the next stop...x'mas market!...there I found German stuffs again (same as Bournemouth)...but what's interesting me was ice-skating rink down the park...honestly, I wana ice-skating...but none of us said yes to me...so I just skipped it...but I still wana...huh, went back to bed...

the forth day, we woke up early morning, the plan was leaving Edinburgh before 7am to the Isle of Skye...well, that was the plan, we left the city around 9am because 2guys (went get the cars) lost in the city for almost 2 hours!...anyway, we were lucky, the way wasnt far as we thought...so we reached Skye around 3-4pm...by the way, the routes toward Skye were so impressed to me...we drove away from the sun toward the rain & there was a rainbow in front of us...somtimes it became very vivid...once we could see the whole rainbow just as near as we could reach it!! well, I dont know how to explain but it was a perfect rainbow I've ever seen...sadly, I was driving & unable to photograph...

we found a hostel to stay on Skye...ate fish & chips (checking whether it would be better eating fish near where they live)...the place was nice to me & the hot water was ____ hot!! G'Night...

the fifth day, we planned to drive around the island (which is found it's too big to drive in one day) so we decided to drive only a part of it (an officer in its tourist office said it's about 2 hours for this route)...so we started...after about half an hour driving, we started stopping along the way...took photos & took photos & took photos....& took photos...(I can realise that everyone in this trip like taking photos--both being photographers & being in the frame!)...we spent most time stopping & taking photos...again, poor me, I gota drive & I cant take many photos (but finally I drove & took photos at the same time, haha)...long way till the end of the route, we spent almost 4hours driving there...hurried leave the isle toward Glasgow, preparing for flying back home...

driving in Scotland became my new experience...I drove while weather always changed...nice sun shine, light to heavy rain, even snow! (it's my first time, haha)...I drove in the early morning till another day early morning (I drove that long!!)...well, I like the route we took back to Glasgow even I can see it clearly because of darkness but I assumed it would be beautiful...I think I drove up & down hills...& into forests (one thing that confirmed me this is a nice route was there are several big resort belong to big hotel companies along the roads)...well...

back to Glasgow...the last day, we were thinking not to find a place to sleep and to drive around Presley (where Glasgow Airport's located) & Glasgow city centre...we drove around Presley, had pizzas in our cars while it was heavy rain in front of a hotel where is recommended as the cheap one (but it's £600 prpn!!)...& then to Glasgow University (not so attractive to me)...anyway, finally most of us cant stay without rest so we found a public car park where we could spend a night there...

we woke up early in the morning...drove to Presley, cleaned the cars & sent them back to the company before catching a train to Prestwick Airport...My sister got the plane first & the rest afterward...view from the plane was nice...clear sky, able to see the land...taking some photos...

landing BOURNEMOUTH!!...finally, life is back to where it belongs...continue my study & think of the next place to visit...(mom said my sister & I should go for Reading sometimes--mom knows someone there)...

Just the Beginning

I'm here in Bournemouth, UK for 3 months now...
And I'm always looking forward to being away from my room,
I've been to several town nearby...like Bath, Salisbury, even Brighton, etc.

But I still wana go further...I knew sometimes it seems unreachable to dream of travelling to the world without knowledge & aim to visit ALONE! but, well, that's my dream...which is still a dream until now (that I'm far away from home like this)...

The best thing to be here is I belong to myself & no one could force me to do things (even my mom already pushed me here to study)...I feel like world is being unfare to me...I'm here without any barrier from my family but still I'm stuck with my study, my work & my little money...

I wana be somewhere else with someone who understands what I am (who can be the mirror reflects me)...it's ridiculous, I can say I dont know myself well even though I have lived & will spend my entire life with myself...I wonder why when people said something about me, I've never realised before that's my behaviour. well, but now I feel I know more about myself than later in few years ago...maybe because I'm growing up & trying to think more about myself....

Sometimes life is not what you wana...
